This edge glide gives you a smooth transition from the ground onto your trailer gate. The glide minimizes friction for snowmobiles but has built-in traction so you can still walk on it safely or load up your favorite off-road toy.
The first movement onto an enclosed trailer door is often the most awkward. Without a transition panel, your sleds track can hit the bottom of the door at a sharp angle, spin, or kick sideways. This ramp panel bridges that gap and gives you a smooth, predictable transition from the ground onto the door. It reduces friction so your snowmobile glides up the ramp instead of digging in, making loading feel controlled even when the ground is icy or uneven.
The raised traction pattern gives you stable footing as you guide your snowmobile into the trailer, and it also provides a reliable surface for loading ATVs and UTVs. Riders have even used it for mobility scooters thanks to its grippy surface and gentle transition angle. Because the panel flips up on a hinge pin, you can close your trailer door without removing anything. When you open it again, the panel drops back into position, ready for the next load.
Installation is straightforward using the included hardware. If your trailer door needs a custom fit, each panel includes a molded cut line to help you make clean, straight trims. The lightweight design and simple hinge system make it easy to work with while still holding up to repeated use in winter conditions.
Caliber creates products that work together as part of a full loading and hauling system, no matter what you ride. EdgeGlides 2.0 support the outside edge control portion of that setup.
This product fills one piece of your loading system, helping every surface work together. Even a single upgrade can make loading a better experience.

Hello, everybody. Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Caliber Edge Glide 2.0 Transition Plates for enclosed trailers. Now, this particular kit's gonna give you a total of 96 inches, or eight foot long potential. Each one of these is 24 inches long by 12 inches wide, and about a quarter inch thick. Now when these are installed, they're gonna basically cover, or transition, from your enclosed trailer gate, door, whatever you wanna call it.
And whenever you tilt your gate or door up, whenever you're done loading, these are gonna pivot up and out of the way for a nice transition both that way, and then when you have to drive over that gap in between that gate door. So when it's opening, these would come back up, and then they could come straight down whenever you're unloading, just like that. Now, like I said, you get four of these. I wanna zoom in, so I didn't have a lot of room here on the table to lay all this out. But you get three of these rubberized pads, and basically these are gonna be your connection transition.
So they pop right in, they are perfectly molded. And then the next plate in line, you do the same thing. You would pop that down, and then you would have two of them connected, just like that. And obviously you'd have to screw it together to hold it in place, but that's what those guys are for. Now, they're also gonna give you a whole lot of these panhead style screws, and they get you a little star head torque tip there inside included.
Like I said, you get three of these connectors, a bunch of torque head screws. You even get a bunch of these white little plastic push-ins. So what I've seen is that, if you don't use a hole or something, you could potentially push them in place to cover that hole. Now these have built in traction on them, so those traction knobs are gonna make it easy and safe to walk on, but it's also gonna reduce friction on the plate itself. That way, when you're loading and unloading your snowmobile, you can do it with ease.
Well, folks, that's gonna wrap it up. Just a quick look together at the Caliber Edge Glide 2.0 Transition Plate for enclosed trailers, eight foot long total. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
Excellent
Quality product. Fast service.
Works great, even with heavy wraith items on dolly rolling over it. A good fix for the ramp gap.
Worked perfect for the trailer. The instructions could be better.
Sturdy construction and nice fit on my forest river Cherokee toy hauler.
Excellent product that's ready to install and keeps my mobility scooters wheels from galling in the void btwn trailer ramp and floor. Highly recommended, great company to buy from!
Skeptical on the durability. We will find out this winter.
Shipping took forever, I could have walked there sooner!
These transition plates by Caliber was exactly what I was looking for to protect the ramp door of my new trailer. Good quality product!
as represemted - was concerned they were plastic but seem to be strong enough for any use i have for them.
Not as sturdy as I hoped but I will see how they last with a heavy dolly rolling over them daily. Very easy to install though.
Fast shipment
Just what I needed to save the edge of my trailer ramps, thanks!
Items were as described and delivered in a timely manner
Not as thick at I hoped for... cutting areas are too far apart.
Very lightweight and durable. Easy to cut to length and install was a breeze. Love it
