What are the advantages euro vs. standard for my 2016 VW golf? How do I find someone qualified to install? Thanks.

I like the Euro ball mounts like what come with the part # C114121 as they are just a simpler design that doesn't require you to install a ball onto the ball mount. It's permanently fixed there so it is always ready to go. Also it's a bit less bulky so it stores a bit easier.
This is a fit for your 2016 Volkswagen Golf so if you need a hitch and a ball mount that has a 1-7/8 inch ball this would be the part number you would need.
For trailer wiring you then would want the # 118646 which is custom fit for your vehicle.
Hitches are pretty basic installs, any local mechanic in your area with a decent reputation would have not problem with it.
