Question:
I read another response from Jameson C where he recommends the Hidden Hitch Trailer Hitch part # 87676 and possibly the Curt # C13136. The issue I am concerned about is that the 2015 - 2016 Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid does not have a lower bumper cover cutout like the other Cayenne models. Will it be necessary to manually cut the bumper cover to make any of these trailer hitches fit, or do they extend below the plastic lower bumper covers? Also, I currently have a CURT # 13116 on a 2013 Cayenne. If the previously mentioned models will fit, would the CURT 13116 as well?

I checked with Curt and they do list trailer hitch # C13116 as a fit for all models of the 2016 Porsche Cayenne. The all models would include yours as well. There is no trimming of the rear fascia indicated in the installation details, linked for reference, and the hitch receiver should actually be just below it.
Since you can reuse the hitch that you have all you will need is to replace the hardware (since the hardware is all meant to be torqued down once). For that you will need # RHK. Enter the hitch number and choose Curt as the manufacturer to get the right hardware.
If you plan on doing some towing I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
Wiring on the other hand is going to require a trip to a Porsche dealer.

Hello, looking to get a trailer hitch set up for a 2017 Porsche Cayenne S e-Hybrid. Based on previous Q&A i believe I'll need trailer hitch # C13116 as well as ball mount kit # 989900. is this all I'll need? any other hardware, accessories or parts I need to order? Also, are you aware of any issues with 2017 Porsche Cayenne S e-Hybrid models towing? or general issues with fitment of this hitch? please advise, thank you
