Question:
I am looking at the Curt Trailer Hitch for my 2013 Acura RDX. I am looking to use it to mount my bike rack, not to tow. On the page, there is a note which states: Note: All non-trailer loads - bike racks, cargo carriers and so forth - should be supported with stabilizing straps. Failure to properly support these loads will void your hitch warranty from CURT. I am not sure what this means. I dont see any stabilizing straps as a purchase option, nor do I know how they would attach. I just want to make sure I understand this prior to purchasing the hitch. Thank you,

The correct stabilizer strap to use with the Curt Hitch part # C13130 that you referenced is the part # 18050. To see how it would get used check out the review video I attached.
Another option you have that might interest you is to use a Draw-Tite Hitch like part # 75784. It does not require the use of a stabilizer strap. I attached an install video for this hitch for you to check out as well.
The most popular bike rack we carry that has been confirmed to fit this vehicle is the Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack part # S64670. This rack has a ton of positive reviews from our customers who have tried it. Check out the review video I attached for more info.
