  • Recommended Hitch Adapter w/ Rise for a 1-1/4" Hitch
Hey Doug! The closest thing we have to what you're asking for is the 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Adapter item # e93YR. This has a 5" rise and most likely won't work for your Camry for the same reason what you're asking for doesn't exist in a 1-1/4" to 1-1/4" size. Any and all hitch adapters and extenders reduce the hitches tongue weight and towing capacity by 50%. A Toyota Camry's hitch like item # C12107 only has a 350 lbs capacity. Adding this adapter fixes the dragging problem but now...

  • Will the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Hit the Bumper When Installed on a 2004 Volkswagen Jetta Wagon
Hey Jason, we don't have those specs unfortunately, but I was able to track down some specs and it looks like this hitch measures 18" long, so I'd say paired with the Trailer Hitch Adapter # e93YR you should be fine and shouldn't contact the bumper.

  • Recommended Hitch for a 2018 or 2019 Chevy Bolt EV
Hey Walt. The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch item # 306-X7359 is preferred because it has a 2" receiver over the Draw-Tite item # 24956 1-1/4" receiver. There's way more bike racks and cargo carriers that fit 2" hitches than there are that fit a 1-1/4" especially a class I 1-1/4" hitch. The weight capacity of the hitches is going to be limited to what your Bolt is capable of regardless. Using a hitch adapter like the Trailer Hitch Adapter item # e93YR will reduce your hitches capacities...

  • Recommended Anti-Rattle for a 1-1/4" Hitch
Hey Mike. None of the 1-1/4" to 2" hitch adapters like our item # e93YR are going to work with a threaded anti-rattle hitch pin. However, you can use the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch for 1-1/4" Trailer Hitches item # RM-061-125. The Roadmaster item # RM-061-125 is going to attach behind the lip of your 1-1/4" receiver and mount over the top of the item # e93YR adapter's shank to keep it from moving around. It'll take care of the rattling and sway from the adapter moving around inside your hitch's...

  • Which 1-1/4 inch to 2 inch Hitch Adapter is Strongest for Use with E-Bike Rack
Hey Pam, so the highest rated 1-1/4 inch to 2 inch hitch adapters we offer have a 350 lb tongue weight capacity like with the part # e43YR for a straight adapter or the part # e93YR for one with a rise built into the shank. You have to keep in mind that when you use an adapter like this you cut the weight capacity of the trailer hitch by 50 percent and since most 1-1/4 inch hitches have a 200 lb (sometimes 350 lb) capacity you would be looking at having around a 100 lb capacity for a rack...

  • Do You Have a 1-1/4" to 1-1/4" Hitch Adapter w/ Rise?
Hey Dan, not really. You could piece one together using the Trailer Hitch Adapter - 1-1/4" to 2" Hitch item # e93YR and the Hitch Reducer 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch item # HT02. However, you're not going to want to do this. Using any kind of hitch adapter reduces your hitch's capacity by 50%. Seeing as how you already have a lower capacity of 200 lbs with a 1-1/4" hitch I do not see an adapter being a solution. What bike rack do you have and how heavy is your bike?

  • Can 2" Receiver Adapter Be Added to 1-1/4" Hitch on a 2008 Smart fortwo
To convert the 1-1/4" receiver opening on the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11020 for your 2008 Smart fortwo to a 2" receiver you can use the Trailer Hitch Adapter # e93YR. With that being said, any adapter will reduce the weight rating of your hitch by 50% so if you were to use this it would reduce the tongue weight of the hitch to 100 lbs. Not only that, but since your Smart car has a really short wheelbase the further back you place weight the more impact it will have to the performance...

  • Do They Make a 2" Trailer Hitch for a 2023 Hyundai Venue
The only trailer hitch options for a 2023 Hyundai Venue are class I, 1-1/4" like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C57CR which is what I recommend. That said, you can convert this to a 2" hitch using an adapter like the Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter part # e43YR or part # e93YR. Please note, using said adapter will reduce the hitch capacity by 50%. Unfortunately, the Hyundai Venue is a subcompact so they don't make the larger hitch size for this as the vehicle can't benefit from...

  • Trailer Hitch for 2017 Honda Civic EX Hatchback Carrying 60 lb E-Bike
Hi Bob; the Curt # C92UR you looked at is the best option for your 2017 Civic Hatchback. This has a bolt-on installation and comes with a lifetime warranty. It has a concealed cross-tube so only the receiver will be visible and has a thicker powder coat compared to the Draw-Tite so it will hold up better over time. I also see you were looking at the Trailer Hitch Adapter # e93YR. Keep in mind, using the adapter will cut the capacity of your hitch in half so you will only be able to carry...

  • Availability of 1-1/4" to 2" Adapter With Anti-Rattle for Bike Rack
Hey Robert! An anti-rattle hitch pin won't work since none of the adapters will be threaded and, as you already found out, they don't have a hollow shank. What you can use instead is the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch for 1-1/4" Trailer Hitches # RM-061-125 along with a locking hitch pin # TS57VR. This combination will allow you to secure it with a lock and cut out the extra play from the adapter and a bike rack. For an adapter you can use the Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Hitch...

  • Bike Rack for Lowered 2021 Mazda 3 With Class I Hitch
Hey Steve! It looks like the hitch on your 2021 Mazda 3 is a Class I so you're going to be pretty limited. It sounds like you're planning to carry a single bike, is that correct? If so, the closest thing to meeting all of your requirements is the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU64FR. This is Class I compatible and has a weight capacity of 60 lbs. This includes a cable lock and has an optional hitch lock # HL1. It does stick out straight for a bit before the rise kicks in but that is true for all...

  • Recommended 2" Hitch for a 2022 Toyota Sienna w/ a Factory 1-1/4" Hitch
Congrats on the new van! The only option is to upgrade your hitch to one like the Curt item # C22UR you were looking at. There are no swing away hitch extenders like item # SAR36VR in a 1-1/4" configuration and you can't use an adapter like item # e93YR on them. The Curt Trailer Hitch item # C22UR is going to be your best choice. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 350 lbs tongue weight capacity so plenty of strength for a swing away adapter and a 4-bike bike rack....

  • Do You Have a Riser for My Thule Bike Rack for 1 1/4" Receiver to Gain More Clearance?
Hello Michael, We only have a riser that goes from a 1 1/4" hitch to a 2", so you will need to use the Trailer Hitch Adapter - 1-1/4" to 2" Hitch - 4-1/2" Drop/5" Rise - 6-1/2" L # e93YR with a reducer, the Trailer Hitch Reducer 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver # e63YR. I would like to point out that the # e93YR will cut your tongue weight in half. Or you could get the Combo Bar 6" with 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver # E-911 and have a local fabricator weld you together a rise. Do...

  • 1-1/4 inch to 2 inch Hitch Adapter to Use with 2025 Toyota RAV4 for Bike Rack
Hey Bob, the etrailer 1-1/4 inch to 2 inch hitch adapter part # e93YR that you referenced would work for you. This does cut the capacity of the hitch it is used with by 50 percent so you'd need to make sure that the OEM hitch of your RAV4 has twice the capacity of weight of your bikes plus your bike rack.

  • Will The Curt Hitch C11354 Fit A 2013 Volkswagen Beetle TDI?
Hi Andy! The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11354 will indeed fit your 2013 VW Beetle TDI. It actually fits everything but the R models, so you are good to go! As to the 1-1/4" to 2" adapter, we have a few options for you. The first is the TowSmart Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # TS52FR, which is a straight adapter. The hitch pin hole is a bit farther down the shank on this one compared to the item # hes6. It sits 2-1/2" from the back of the shank as shown in the diagram below. But we do not have an adapter with a rise that will go from a 2" to 1 1/4". What do you need the rise for? Just trying to better understand what you are using it for to see if we have a better part.

  • Can 1-1/4 to 2 inch Hitch Adapter # e93YR Work on 2010 Honda Civic
You would need to take one measurement to determine if the hitch adapter part # e93YR would fit your 2010 Honda Civic. You would need to measure from the center of your hitch pin hole out to the outer edge of your bumper. If that dimension is less than 2-3/4 inches this would fit without hitting the bumper.

  • Are There Any 2" Hitch Receivers That Fit a 2024 Honda Accord
Hey Chris, thanks for reaching out! I checked with out manufacturers and unfortunately it looks like the only hitch receiver sizes designed to fit your 2024 Honda Accord are the smaller 1-1/4" receivers. You can technically use a hitch adapter like the etrailer # e93YR, but we don't normally recommend doing this because it reduces the weight rating of your hitch by 50%, and when you're talking about a smaller receiver like the Curt # C35RV it means you're limited to 100 lbs both for the...

  • How To Stop Hitch Bike Rack from Scraping on Toyota Camry
The best option we have for you to help with raising the rack would be with the Trailer Hitch Adapter part # e93YR. That said, you can use an adapter like the Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" part # e43YR or part # e93YR but just keep in mind, they reduce capacity so you're now limited to 100 lbs for the bikes and rack.

The only trailer hitch options available for a 2017 Ford Mustang GT are class I, the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 24928 is what I recommend. It has a 1-1/4" opening which works great for towing or hitch mounted accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers. The Trailer Hitch Adapter # e93YR is the closest extender/riser to the Trailer Hitch Extender # e68YR you found. The adapter does change from the 1-1/4" receiver to a 2" receiver for the accessory. You would need the Reducer # e63YR to get back down to a 1-1/4" receiver. Be sure to consider both the extender you found and the adapter that I gave you above will reduce the capacity of the receiver by 50%.
