Recommended Anti-Rattle for a 1-1/4" Hitch

Question:
I need a 1 1/4 inch to 2 inch hitch adapter. However I see all of your adapters use a pin to secure the adapter to the hitch. Are there any adapters that use a threaded pin. As you know this would reduce movement and noise and would feel much safer. If this is not available is there an accessory that would eliminate movement between the adapter and the hitch. Thank you.

Hey Mike. None of the 1-1/4" to 2" hitch adapters like our item # e93YR are going to work with a threaded anti-rattle hitch pin. However, you can use the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch for 1-1/4" Trailer Hitches item # RM-061-125.
The Roadmaster item # RM-061-125 is going to attach behind the lip of your 1-1/4" receiver and mount over the top of the item # e93YR adapter's shank to keep it from moving around. It'll take care of the rattling and sway from the adapter moving around inside your hitch's receiver.
What year, make, and model vehicle do you have and is your hitch factory or aftermarket? The Roadmaster item # RM-061-125 requires a hitch with a ring or collar around the end of it to work.
You can add this information and any other questions you have where it says Reply to Jerred H and I'll be happy to answer them.
