Question:
I just bought a 2025 rav4 that came with an 1.25 factory hitch. Can I use a 1.25 to 2 inch adaptor to use my bike rack for my two bikes that weight about 55 lbs each. will the tongue weight be sufficient with the weight of bikes and bike rack combined

Hey Bob, the etrailer 1-1/4 inch to 2 inch hitch adapter part # e93YR that you referenced would work for you. This does cut the capacity of the hitch it is used with by 50 percent so you'd need to make sure that the OEM hitch of your RAV4 has twice the capacity of weight of your bikes plus your bike rack.

Hey Bob, did you find that the hitch on your RAV4 had enough capacity for your bikes and bike rack when using the adapter? I'm curious because it could help others with similar setups.
