First time using Dacromet coated parts on my saltwater trailer. I haven’t installed the springs but they look well made. Hard to to stop

by:

Excellent customer service.
Parts were
heavy duty, greaseable and delivered fast.
Keep up the good work!!

by:

Excellent replacement for original factory equalizer, we camp often at the coast and the galvanized finish will be better protection from rust & corrosion. The wet bolts and new shackles fit perfectly.

by:

got tired of replacing one item here and one item there so I changed the whole suspension this time. The equipment has been good and the service was great. If I find anything goes wrong in the future, I am certain this company will stand behind the products they offer.

Thanks for the kind words, Steve! Means a lot to us. I am so glad you were able to find everything you needed for this project :) What all are you hauling with the trailer?

by:

The equalizers I purchased from etrailer were galvanized which I like and they came with bushings. I have been working on my boat trailer for the last couple weeks. I replaced the bunk boards and carpet, side boards and carpet (etrailer), new suspension parts, shackle plates, all new bolts/nuts, the leaf springs were okay. New fenders. I bought steel fenders locally, had them chrome/nickel plated and I also installed vinyl scratch guard on the undersides for road debris protection. See attached photos. Thanks.

by:

Looks good not installed yet. No issues with the one I purchased last summer

by:

Exact replacement. Easy to install.

by:

The parts fit perfectly and Sara made it all very easy. One phone call and I was done. I can't thank her enough for her knowledge and professional help.

by:

My trailer hauls two commercial mowers and miscellaneous landscaping equipment all the time. My old equalizers were totally shot after 8 years of this use and these were exactly right. We shall see if they last 8 years as well.

by:

Received all items as ordered. The folks at etrailer were helpful and knowledgeable

by:

The part worked great once the correct part showed up.

by:

Makes my trailer pull like new and no suspension noise great product highly recommend

by:

Products were exactly what I ordered. The box was a mess of parts when it arrived. I was concerned the seals got dinged up from rolling around with all the other parts. But everything arrived in good condition and I will order again.

by:

Big improvement of the sagging original springs.

by:

All parts installed with no issues. Tks, Etrailer

by:

Good quality. I ordered the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit and got bronze bushings which I recommend over the plastic.

by:

Thank you too Tammie in customer service for getting what I needed for trailer, everything fits great. Loving the grease fittings on suspension kit.

by:

Heavy duty and works as advertised.

by:

This is the only galvanized equalizer carried, dimensions turned out perfect to use with 25 1/4" springs, hangers on 29 1/2" centers. Happy with quality of construction even though a big 'made in China' stamp is on the back. Time will tell how well the galvanized coating stands up to salt water.

by:

I Really like Etrailers team and website they are very helpful and the parts are always what I need to repair or make better then before.

by:

The product looks to be very good. It appears will made with good galvanizing. I would have given it 5 stars however both of the ones I received were each missing a bushing insert. It wasn't a big deal for me because I ordered high end bushings to replace the factory nylon ones. If someone were to order this part counting on the bushings being there it could potentially be a problem.

by:

After using there professional support team (laughable). After several messages that just wasn't getting anywhere, gave them all the information they asked for via phone call. They provided part numbers for the products that I needed. One equilizer they recommend was taller than the one I had. I asked about that and they said it's ok they are all pretty standard at 7.75 inches wide... good thing I didn't listen to the pro and just ordered the right part on this.

by:

This was an exact replacement for my worn out equalizer, and after a year I can report that it is still working perfectly.

by:

Replaced my old equalizers with these and they have worked great without an issue; this is a one year review since my purchase of these trailer parts. To anyone considering these - they have worked great for me on my boat trailer.

by:

These were perfect to how they were described. Only wish they were offered in greasable bronze bushings.

  • Looking For Upgraded Equalizer For Forest River 26DBH Travel Trailer
Hello Daniel, thanks for reaching out. The MORryde upgraded equalizers may work for you, but that will completely depend on what equalizer is currently on your trailer. Your trailers suspension is built around a specific equalizer size, so the replacement must be identical in size. There is a bit of tolerance, like 1/2" or less, but not much. There is no way to look up your trailer to know what equalizer you have though. If you take a look at your equalizer, there should be a number stamped...

  • How To Correctly Measure The Height Of An Equalizer
Good question. You are correct that the # A2252CB-GALV is 2-7/8" tall. When measuring an equalizer we will always go from center hole to center hole. The best way to measure the height is to first draw a line between the two lowermost holes, then draw a line from the center of the top hole and go down until you hit the first line you drew. The length of the vertical line will be the height. I have edited the image below to illustrate. When replacing an equalizer, it is imperative that...

  • Looking For Upgraded Equalizer And Shackle Bolts For 2025 Forest River Black Label 22RRBL
Hello Robert, thanks for reaching out. We should have what you need, but there is no way for me to look up your camper to know exactly what size equalizer and shackles you need. Any way you can get me those measurements? I will need to know the bolt to bolt length of your shackles, and I will also need the hole to hole length and height of your equalizer. If you look at the picture I included I would need the red and blue measurements. Reply on this page and let me know those measurements....

  • What Is The Difference Between TREQE1 And A2252CB-GALV?
That is an extremely good question, Don. The # A2252CB-GALV used to be galvanized, but it looks like that changed fairly recently and is no longer the case. The # TREQE1 was always just painted black. With that said, they measure exactly the same in every way and now have the exact same coating as well. I am going to see why we haven't removed the # A2252CB-GALV from our site as it really doesn't make a lot of sense to have it any more. Especially with it being so much more expensive....

  • Troubleshooting Equalizers Rock Forward When Trailer Sitting Level and Leaf Springs Touch Frame
Hi Colton; are you replacing the leaf springs as well? Is that what you mean when you say you have 4 springs 25-1/4"ish for front and rear and 26" for the rear? Replacing the equalizers isn't a bad idea while you're working on this but I don't see that being the main issue. It sounds like your leaf springs are completely worn out which is throwing everything off while allowing them to contact the trailer frame. Replacing them will likely solve your problems. Unless you have changed the...

  • Replacement 3,500 lb Leaf Springs & 7-3/4 Inch Wide Equalizer
Thanks for all that info and we can get you exactly what you are needing. Since you have a 2-3/8" axle that would be a 3,500 lb axle, so you want leaf springs rated for that weight. The concern with springs that exceed the rating of your axle is that they will give you a very stiff, rigid ride, so you want to stay with the correctly rated springs. I'll go ahead and list out the parts you need, with a couple notes. First is that leaf springs elongate slightly over time, which is why the...

Thank you for all that info, and replacing the equalizers, as well as upgrading the suspension hardware is going to be the best option for you. The correct size equalizer, as well as the suspension kit that I recommend is the following: - Curved Equalizer for 1-3/4" Double Eye Spring - 7-3/4" Long - 9/16" Hole # A2252CB-GALV - MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers # MR76ZR The MORryde kit will give you a much-upgraded suspension kit. • Upgraded Cushioned Equalizer for A2252CB-GALV for 2020 Coachmen Chaparral 295X 5th Wheel
Assuming that your shackle links measure 2-1/4 inches center hole to center hole, the ideal replacement for your existing # A2252CB-GALV suspension equalizers would be the # K71-653-00 E-Z Flex kit from Dexter Axle which is good for axle capacities up to 8000 lbs and 35 inch axle spacing. I spoke with my Dexter representative who confirmed that this would be a great fit, assuming the center bolt to center bolt dimension of your shackle links are 2-1/4 inches. The cushioned equalizer matches...

  • How to Determine Equalizer Upgrade For Dutchmen Voltage Toy Hauler
Hi Norman, We can help you out with determining the right equalizer upgrade for your Dutchmen Voltage, though don't have a way of knowing specifically which part you need. It's pretty easy to determine though, as you just have to take a couple measurements. What you want to do is match the dimensions of your current equalizers to replacements (or get very close). For example, if your equalizers measured 8" across from center-to-center of the bolt holes and 3-1/2" vertically (as in the...

  • Is There a Weight Rating for the ABS Fasteners A2252CB-GALV Equalizer?
Equalizers like the ABS Fasteners # A2252CB-GALV actually will not carry a max capacity, but I can definitely say they will work with your weight rating. As long as your current equalizer measures 7-3/4 inches from center to center of the holes horizontally and 2-7/8 inches tall, this will be a great replacement.

  • Curved Equalizer Coating Type and Bushing Outer Diameter
The Curved Equalizer for 1-3/4" Double Eye Spring # A2252CB-GALV is not galvanized but it has a powder coat finish which is pretty standard when it comes to trailer suspension parts. The OD of the 9/16" bushing is 11/16" so to replace that with a 1/2" ID bushing you'll need the part # TRBU11506.

Hello Jace. The MORryde Rubber Equalizers for the 33" wheelbase, part # MR87ZR is not going to work to replace the # A2252CB-GALV curved equalizer. The # A2252CB-GALV equalizer is 7-3/4" long and the # MR87ZR is only 6-1/2". There is a bit of tolerance when replacing the equalizer, but a 1-1/2" difference is way too much.
