How to Determine Equalizer Upgrade For Dutchmen Voltage Toy Hauler

Question:

I have a 2021 voltage 4271 that I would like to upgrade the suspension on and I don't know which equalizers or wet bolt kit kit my toy hauler. Please advise, thank you for your time and have a good day.

Hi Norman,

We can help you out with determining the right equalizer upgrade for your Dutchmen Voltage, though don't have a way of knowing specifically which part you need. It's pretty easy to determine though, as you just have to take a couple measurements.

What you want to do is match the dimensions of your current equalizers to replacements (or get very close). For example, if your equalizers measured 8" across from center-to-center of the bolt holes and 3-1/2" vertically (as in the accompanying diagram) you could use the MORryde Shock Absorbing Suspension Equalizers for Tandem Axle Trailers # MR27ZR.

Then for the upgraded wet bolts and shackle straps, you'd just need to measure your straps from center-to-center of the bolt holes and again match them to yours. You would use either the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers - 3-1/8" Long Shackle Straps # MR76ZR or 2-1/4" Long Shackle Straps # MR46ZR.
