Looking For Upgraded Equalizer For Forest River 26DBH Travel Trailer
Updated 03/10/2026 | Published 05/21/2025 >
Question:
I have a forest river 26dbh. Thinking of upgrading the equalizers to morryde and wanted to know which ones for my unit and if anything else should be upgraded or done at this time? Thank you.

Hello Daniel, thanks for reaching out. The MORryde upgraded equalizers may work for you, but that will completely depend on what equalizer is currently on your trailer. Your trailers suspension is built around a specific equalizer size, so the replacement must be identical in size. There is a bit of tolerance, like 1/2" or less, but not much. There is no way to look up your trailer to know what equalizer you have though.
If you take a look at your equalizer, there should be a number stamped on the front. Usually we can use this number to cross reference and know what size you need. If you don't see a number, you can measure. I would just need to know the length and height, like in the diagram below. Looking for the red and clue measurement. The bolt hole is almost always 9/16".
Typically if you are doing a MORryde equalizer, you will want to upgrade your shackles and get a wet bolt kit as well. If you can let me know the center-hole to center-hole measurement of your shackle straps, I can get you set up.
Hit the reply button below and get me that info. I am happy to look into it and make a recommendation.

On the equalizer it is stamped CZJ and 2205. Does this work?
