Question:
Hello, I have a 2020 Coachmen Chaparral X-Lite 295x with 16 inch wheels and tires. I have the referenced Dexter A2252CB-GALV equalizer installed. I am looking for a Morryde, Lippert, or Road Armor equivalent. My axels are 5100lb axles. Can you give me some options to replace this equalizer with something better to smooth out the ride. And suggest a upgraded shackle and wetbolt kit for the equalizer? I have measured from the equalizer center bolt to the respective forward and rear axel bolts and each measured 30.5 inches. I have measured center to center on the axles, and this is 35.5 inches. If you require additional information please let me know. Thanks for your time, I appreciate your team answering questions.

Helpful Expert Reply:
Assuming that your shackle links measure 2-1/4 inches center hole to center hole, the ideal replacement for your existing # A2252CB-GALV suspension equalizers would be the # K71-653-00 E-Z Flex kit from Dexter Axle which is good for axle capacities up to 8000 lbs and 35 inch axle spacing. I spoke with my Dexter representative who confirmed that this would be a great fit, assuming the center bolt to center bolt dimension of your shackle links are 2-1/4 inches. The cushioned equalizer matches the dimensions of your existing equalizer, so the geometry of your suspension won't change.
The E-Z Flex system will improve your ride quality by reducing chucking and road shock. The kit includes the E-Z Flex cushioned equalizers, heavy duty shackle straps, wet bolts and all necessary hardware.
