Question:
My project is a tandem boat trailer. Im interested in Equalizer #A2252CB-GALV. Q1: Is it galvanized? Q2: All the hangers are welded and have 1/2 bolts, not 9/16. So, I will need to replace the middle equilizer bushing. What is the bushing OD? Thanks for your help

Expert Reply:
The Curved Equalizer for 1-3/4" Double Eye Spring # A2252CB-GALV is not galvanized but it has a powder coat finish which is pretty standard when it comes to trailer suspension parts.
The OD of the 9/16" bushing is 11/16" so to replace that with a 1/2" ID bushing you'll need the part # TRBU11506.
