Question:
What is the maximum weight rating for the leaf spring equalizer? I have a 12,000 gross double-axle trailer with 6,000 axles. Would this part be able to take the weight? The realistic load is 10,000 lbs. Thank you

Expert Reply:
Equalizers like the ABS Fasteners # A2252CB-GALV actually will not carry a max capacity, but I can definitely say they will work with your weight rating. As long as your current equalizer measures 7-3/4 inches from center to center of the holes horizontally and 2-7/8 inches tall, this will be a great replacement.
