Question:

Hi, Im looking to upgrade my tandem axle trailer with the MORryde kit https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Suspension-Parts/MORryde/MR87ZR.html I measure 33inch wheelbase so that part is right but the measurements of the old equalizers are the same as these: https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Suspension-Parts/ABS-Fasteners/A2252CB-GALV.html My shackles are the 3 1/8inch center to center. Would that MORryde kit work with my trailer with those size differences? I would likely order the shackle kit from MORryde as well.

Hello Jace. The MORryde Rubber Equalizers for the 33" wheelbase, part # MR87ZR is not going to work to replace the # A2252CB-GALV curved equalizer. The # A2252CB-GALV equalizer is 7-3/4" long and the # MR87ZR is only 6-1/2". There is a bit of tolerance when replacing the equalizer, but a 1-1/2" difference is way too much.

The MORryde Shock Absorbing Suspension Equalizers # MR27ZR are a much better option. This equalizer is 8" long, so much closer in size to the stock equalizer.

For the Shackle kit use the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit # MR76ZR which comes with the 3-1/8" HD shackles, wet bolts and bronze bushings.
