Description says this is 2-7/8" tall. How exactly is equalizer height measured.? Thanks

Good question. You are correct that the # A2252CB-GALV is 2-7/8" tall. When measuring an equalizer we will always go from center hole to center hole. The best way to measure the height is to first draw a line between the two lowermost holes, then draw a line from the center of the top hole and go down until you hit the first line you drew. The length of the vertical line will be the height. I have edited the image below to illustrate.
When replacing an equalizer, it is imperative that the replacement equalizer is identical in size to the original.

I was looking to upgrade my equalizer on my fifth wheel travel trailer. The current dimensions of my equalizer are 5 and 3/4 horizontally and vertically. It is 2 in. I would like to get some kind of equalizer that has a bit of suspension to it. Thank you for your help
