Pretty easy installation. The photo was taken under the cup holder. I took the entire panel off and did not have to.
Excellent products all parts were present and easy to follow instructions and video for hitch and plug and play wiring.If you have smaller hands and are pretty limber you can plug the wiring behind the drivers side passengers seat through the cup holder hole without removing the whole panel
Ok, with my short memory you waited too long for a really thoughtful answer.Three months or at the longest six month would have been good. At seventy-eight years old I can hardly remember what I had for breakfast. There was a hiccup in the process. I had initially ordered the wiring assemble not realizing I had to order the harness for a controller. Having received the new order ever worked out fine. I ordered to trailer hitch and had it sent to my house on NY and asked my son (38) to see if the bolts were included after calling you and understand they were inside the hitch my son could not find them so you company was GREAT and sent the bolts. When I returned to NY I found the bolts inside the hitch. The only thing I can recommend is the make the bolts easier to find. Other than that overall I would give you a nine. By the way I never give out Tens. Regards, Ed
The wiring harness for my 2021 Highlander fit perfectly and was relatively easy to install. Smaller hands and arms would have helped! Ha! Worked perfectly.

Istallation was easy after watching the video provided by e-trailer. I would have been clueless without the video. All trailer lights work as they should.
This was incredibly easy to install. The price is great and the instructions provided were spot on. The harness is still working great after a year of nearly daily use.
'22 Highlander XLE. Easiest installation of a wiring harness. Glad I chose this kit. Saved a bunch of time and actual wiring procedure. Plug-and-play took me about 15 minutes. Make sure to remove the upper panel bolt before the removal of cup holders. Also helps to have a telescopicing retrieval magnet just in case, also when removing the bolt behind the cupholder.

Installation was easy and there are plenty of videos out there if you need the support. Installation instructions are straightforward. I would recommend purchasing the 4 pin bracket. I wish E-Trailer would have listed it with the product because I would have ordered it along with the wiring kit.

This product did not work on my 2020 platinum highlander. I don't know if I read the description wrong and the videos. Tried the other adapter the site said I might need and that did not work. Had to go and get the more expensive toyota parts to work. Was a good kit with good directions though.
CONRIMED FIT for 2024 Grand Highlander without tow package. 30-second installation. First plug is under rear cup holder, second plug is capped under rear bumper (driver’s side corner).
It worked as advertised for a regular small trailer. I needed a 5 pin for a boat trailer which adds reverse lights to deactivate hydraulic brakes for backing up. Installed standard 7 pin round truck connector (same as my truck) for consistency-just don’t have electric brake circuit. Found reverse light circuit in rear hatch, which wasn’t ideal-especially after disassembling interior to locate 4 pin connections. Would have been awesome to disassemble just 1 location. Is the reverse circuit in the same location as the 4 pin factory wiring? Help the next guy out if you can. Thx!

Fantastic product that takes advantage of prebuilt Toyota wiring. ALWAYS buy this kit! Wish a mounting bracket was included or the web site had been a bit clearer about needing to buy one (but I will survive without one).

2024 Highlander XLE.
Very eay to install with recommended tools. Remove the top bolt first before removing the cup holder. I didn't drop it but thought about it afterwards.
The guy in the video says to discard the cap on the bottom of the vehicle, I just kept it to use as i remove the outside wiring and store under the cargo deck inside when I'm not using it, which is most of the time as the vehicle is also a daily driver and i tow maybe once a month.
Fantastic short order and delivery. Less than 5 days. Received the day before the 4th holiday week end. I had expected on the after holiday Monday. We will be boating earlier thanks to you folks.
