Question:

I am looking to get a trailer hitch for my 2021 Toyota Highlander Hybrid, but its a Platinum model. I was wondering if the hitches made for the XSE model would work the same for the Platinum? Just wanted to make sure before purchasing. Thank you!

Hey Reuben! Different hitches have different fitment so it depends on which one you're talking about. I can tell you that the etrailer # e75ZR you were looking at will fit your 2021 Toyota Highlander Platinum Hybrid. This Class III hitch has a concealed cross tube and a bolt-on installation. It also has a unique matte black powder coat finish to help hide dirt and scratches. Take a look at the picture below and you will see it installed on a Platinum Hybrid like yours.

If you plan on towing you will also need wiring and a ball mount. The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK99FR plugs into the connection point in your rear cargo area. Once installed, you will have a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights. For a ball mount, check out the etrailer Ball Mount w/ Pre-Torqued 2" Ball # e67DR. @RobinH yes this actually worked out perfectly! Nice clean look. Easy to install as well. If me and my cousin can do it ourselves then anyone can!
