Worked perfectly for my 2025 Wrangler JL. Removed the cigarette lighter and installed this in its place. You will need to make the top notch of the hole in the jeep a little bigger for this to fit but once you do, it clicks right into place. Holds securely and looks as close to factory as you can get.

I used this item based on a Redarc YouTube video suggesting as the “best fit” to install the brake control knob on my Jeep Gladiator. I had to use a file to fit this item into the mounting hole where the 12 volt receptacle was on the dash board.

Used on a 2021 Ford Ranger XLT - Camping World installed the wiring and removed the guts of the left side 12v plug that wasn't being used. We did have to order this panel and I had it sent to my home instead of going back for Camping World to install. I only had to make a little notch at the top of the open hole where the 12v plug guts were removed so that it would fit- literally used my bare hacksaw blade and made about 3 little bitty notches and knocked out with a screwdriver and it slipped right in and snug.

Had the Redarc brake controller and mounting panel installed by a contact suggested by etrailer and they were great. Not only do they install things like this but they service Jeeps and nucamp trailers which is exactly what we have. In fact they service almost any vehicle and trailer. Great find. Thanks etraiiler! Well, if you have a REDARC Tow-Pro Elite controller, and if you want to install it in a 12-volt receptacle, you need this panel! It fits perfectly where the 12-volt was, and it locks into place well.
Oh, by the way, I installed mine into a 2019 Ford Ranger, so if you have this, no worries!

Good day after a couple tries the round mounting plate was my best option I was replacing the dash insert with the electronic OEM brake controller plate that I found out would not work because my truck didn't have the RCM program so I bought the radic brake controller I took apart the OEM brake controller to get a piece of the plastic to make a plate then I cut out the OEM Dash plate to accept the piece of plastic and then cut that out to accept the round mounting plate ran all the wires everything works I'm going to attach a couple pictures or a few pictures to show what I did there is no direct replacement mounting plate for the small storage box on the OEM plate that was in there or replacing the OEM electric brake module there was no plate to fill that in so I made one myself probably not the finest work because I am very seeing impaired but you'll see in the pictures this is what it looks like thanks again everybody at the trailer for all your help and Jamie and I will attach the pictures

Needed a trim piece for my '94 Dodge Ram 1500. I knew this wasn't an exact fit but with a little Dremel work and a hot glue gun I think it turned out looking pretty good. I replaced the lower cigarette lighter with the trailer brake controller switch.

Saved about 200.00 using this with the Tow-Pro by RedArc over using this OEM trailer controller. Set ups easy (hardest part is removing the 12v battery supply), nothing a screwdriver and snips can't fix. Install took less then 30 minutes using the TPH - 022 harness for the Gladiator. Looks very professional.

Had to cut off the locator tab and file down a little bit to install with the letters and light hole up in the Gladiator. It did snap on well however doesn't exactly fit flush without some slight modifications and a shim I used that was on the original cigarette lighter. Looks great now and close to factory.

Makes it easy to replace the lighter socket in my Jeep Gladiator. I wished the letter was white so it matched the rest of the interior. Additional, it has a lip on the rear that makes it stuck off the dashboard a bit. I would recommend the unit.

This panel fit great in my 2019 Ford ranger. I used it with a Reese tow power compact IQ brake controller. It gave me the factory look that I wanted with the controller knob in an easy to access location. The best part is that there’s no modifications or holes drilled. You can easily remove it and put the 12v outlet back in.

Dimensions for Drill Hole to Install Mounting Panel for Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller Knob
The outer diameter of the smallest round part of # 331-TPSI-003 is 1-1/16 inches. That's not counting the tabs or the beveled section and is shown by the red arrow. I think that's what you're asking about. If not let me know. With that being said at the top of that is a notch that makes it so the hole you drill may need to be larger. From top to bottom with the notch it measures 1-1/8, just like the tabs, and is shown with the yellow arrow.
