2021 Ford Ranger With Automatic Emergency Braking Brake Controller
Question:
On Ford accessories store they show the Redarc Tow Pro Elite with an additional module called SST-4020G Trailer Lamp ECU and an additional cable as part of the package for 2021 Ranger brake controller. Is this required for the controller to work properly with Ford’s forward collision warning system and automatic emergency braking? Will the Tow Pro Elite work with the Ranger without this extra module? If not, do you sell the module?

The Kit in the Ford Accessories Store will be exclusive to Ford. None of the other components you mentioned are available elsewhere.
You can still install the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR on your 2021 Ford Ranger. Their kit takes into consideration that when the emergency braking system is activated the pedal is not being pressed by the driver. Hence the trailer brakes without their kit will not be activated until the driver does push on the brake pedal. The brake controller will still function properly on your Ranger during all normal braking situations.
We have a great video that will show you the installation process on a 2019 Ford Ranger below. The adapter that they use is # 331-TPSI-003 to mount the controller in place of the 12v outlet.
