Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the REDARC Tow-Pro Elite Mounting Kit. This kit is going to allow you to mount your REDARC Tow-Pro Elite securely under the dash of your vehicle. It's going to come with everything that you need to get that mounted in place, including our mounting bracket, a M6 bolt, as well as an M6 nut, two of our M4 bolts and two M4 nuts.Now this bracket is going to be flexible enough that you can bend it if you need to fit it into a small area. It does have multiple mounting options due to its slotted design, so it will allow a lot of different options as far as getting it mounted in place.This is made and manufactured by REDARC, so you can trust that it's going to work for you.
You're not going to need to make any modifications or anything like that. It will work to get that REDARC Pro Elite securely mounted under your dash. Works perfectly when mounting to the dash support strut behind the dash panel of a 5th gen 4Runner. Bends easily by hand and the hardware included worked perfectly. I'm glad I ordered this in conjunction with the Redarc kit as this really helped with installation.

Redarc towpro elite 4Runner install- the bracket seems pricey, I know but well worth it to have a sturdy/stable install and peace of mind knowing that I installed it properly. The cost thru etrailer is comparable to others and received shipment promptly.

Way to expensive for a piece of metal and you have to pay for shipping and it should have been included with the break Controller.
Watched your video and finally figured out the correct side of steering column, the video didn’t say and it went pretty well from there. There’s no way to get comfortable. It’s working perfectly. Thanks. Ron

Bracket worked great to attach my trailer brake controller to - it bent easily enough for me to be able to install the controller in the selected spot under my dash, but it’s sturdy enough to keep the controller in place.
You could put this together at the hardware store for half the price, but saving the trip and having it at hand is worth something. Really should come with the controller. Makes for a secure, professional installation.
The mounting kit made installation seamless. Etrailer provided a great product at a really good price. Shipping was fast and got me safely on the road with my new trailer.

The bracket made installation of the brake controller very easy.
Product worked, but not precisely as noted in the video. Video gave sufficient information to allow adjustment with out drilling new holes.
There needs to be a better design tailored to each model of vehicle that this controversy will be mounted in. The installation did work, but it did not turn out as neat as I would have liked.

Excellent! It is still working as advertised, I do not tow frequently, so it is always nice to know that it is going to work when I hook up my trailer to go camping.
