Question:

Checking to see if RED24FR Redarc liberty brake controller will work with 2019 Ford ranger 4 door supercrew. If it will would like info on the additional wiring harness. My ranger appears to have the four blunt wires near the drivers side kick panel. truck already has factory 7 way plug wired up. Thanks

The Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty, part # RED24FR is compatible, and would be an excellent choice for your 2019 Ford Ranger.

As you mentioned, the Ranger has blunt-ended wires for the tow package connection under the dash to the left of the steering column, and you'll need the Redarc # RED69FR wiring pigtail to connect the controller unit to the tow package wiring.

The pigtail would connect to the tow package wiring as outlined in the linked video, but I'll provide the wire color code match-up below:

• Black pigtail wire connects to the Yellow/Orange striped tow package wire
• Blue pigtail wire connects to the Blue tow package wire
• White pigtail wire connects to the White tow package wire
• Red pigtail wire connects to Violet tow package wire

If you wish to install the Liberty's control knob in the location where the 12-v outlet is located in the center console as shown in the video, you can do so using part # 331-TPSI-003.
