Hey Allen, thanks for reaching out!

I really like the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Universal Wiring Harness # RED52VR because it can be hidden behind your dash so you're only adding a small control knob to your driving console as opposed to a whole "brick" like what traditional brake controllers look like.

If you're a sucker for aesthetics (like I am), I also recommend picking up the Mounting Panel # 331-TPSI-003 for a really clean and factory-looking installation.

One struggle you're going to have is locating the brake controller wiring on your motorhome. I have a few places that you can check, but I don't know the exact location as this will vary from motorhome to motorhome. Try checking under the driver's seat, up under the dash on the driver's side, and the steering column.

Once you manage to find that bundle, you'll connect the pigtail from the Redarc to the following functions:

Blue - 7-Way Output to Trailer
Black - 12V Power
White - Ground
Red - COLD Side of Stop Light Switch (only gets hot when brake pedal is pressed)

We might need to get you some additional parts to complete the installation, but this is all you need for the brake controller end of things. Does your motorhome already have a fully functioning 7-Way? That will tell us if you need the additional wiring.

Hey Allen, did you manage to locate the brake controller wiring on your motorhome and get the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller installed? I'm curious to know how it worked out for you, as it could help others looking to do a similar upgrade.
