Yes—steps that lift into the doorway can require screen door modifying and some don't prefer steps folding into the camper. Check door and threshold clearance before choosing that style. Under-door, outward-deploying steps have mounted like a charm, added needed clearance, and are easy to deploy and stow.
They feel very sturdy and help stabilize the trailer on entry. Adjustable steps with feet that go to the ground reduce bounce and help minimize trailer movement compared to simple pull-out steps. Large feet can help on soft ground and make deploying and stowing straightforward.
