Yes, but choose racks that are trailer or RV rated. The back of a trailer sees extra movement from the longer wheelbase and suspension, so use racks approved for that position. If you're mounting on a 5th wheel or travel trailer, confirm the rack is rated for that use and that your receiver is solidly attached to the frame.
Some have cradles that slide for custom spacing, while others have fixed spacing and only allow angle tweaks or replacement. Verify whether the cradles lock in place on the bar so they don't shift while loading. If spacing is fixed, plan your bike order and use padding to reduce contact.
Start by checking the hitch pin hole depth so the shank can insert far enough. Use the correct pin hole on the rack shank per your hitch's measurement. If using a 2" adapter sleeve, make sure it's assembled with the proper bolts and fits snugly. If a tightening knob isn't securing or loosening the wedge, recheck the mechanism before travel.
