Question:

Hello there. Im looking for a spare tire mount that will attach to the frame rails of my 6x12 haulmark transport dlx enclosed trailer, flat nose single axle, and have the tire centered in between the frame rails. I see theres many options, but Im not seeing what Im looking for. Thank you.

Hey Brian, thanks for the information. The Flint Hill Goods Spare Tire Mount item # FHG57ZR is going to be my best option. I do not have a spare tire mount that's going to place your spare dead center of your Haulmark trailer's tongue.

The Flint Hill Goods Spare Tire Mount item # FHG57ZR can be mounted around your trailer's frame and faced inwards though. It works with trailer frames up to 3" wide x 5" tall. It is compatible with a 5 on 4-1/2" lug nut pattern and has a 100 lbs capacity.

What do you usually haul in your trailer?

Mine worked out perfectly. It's mounted on a Wells Cargo enclosed cargo trailer (5x8). I took pics, but don't know how to include them here. My email is in this post if you wish to see them.

The tire carrier fit well on my utility trailer. I did have a problem with the nuts that attached the rim to the tire carrier, they were miss manufactured and were stripping the bolts. It was too much of a hassle to go back to the manufacturer so I ended up going to Lowe’s and buying replacement nuts.

I am very with both spare tire mounts that I received from you company. Both are attached with spare tires and feel alot more comfortable traveling with a spare tire for the boat trailers. Thanks, Kevin
