RV Steps with 23-3/4 Inch Wide 2-Step Entry
Step in with confidence using 23-3/4 inch wide, 2 steps that make entry feel natural and secure. This size pairs well with many motorhome doors and can replace older units with minimal fuss. Installation can be simple using existing connectors; in some cases you may drill new holes, add wire connectors or an inline fuse connector, or reverse sensor wires or use a door magnet switch to correct operation.
They can be, but verify your coach's connector and condition. Some swaps plug in with no splicing. If your old plugs are corroded or different, plan to splice the included motor connector and add an inline fuse connector if your circuit doesn't have a full fuse holder. Keep your existing door switch if it matches; a magnetic door sensor may be separate.
Match the step width and the bolt pattern on your coach. Measure for 23-3/4 Inch Wide and compare your mounting hole spacing front-to-back and side-to-side. Some installs line up using multiple mounting holes, while others may need a couple holes drilled if patterns differ. If you're replacing similar 2 Steps, the swap is often straightforward.
Install is typically manageable with basic tools. Support the step with a second person or a jack since it's heavy and awkward. Use existing hardware locations when they line up; if not, drill as needed. Have wire connectors on hand; some setups plug in with no splicing, but corroded or mismatched plugs can require direct wiring and an inline fuse connector.
That points to reverse motor polarity. Swap the red and yellow wires to correct extend/retract behavior. If a door magnet switch is used, confirm it's installed and positioned correctly. When wiring to existing controls, double-check wire colors across the connector and that any step switch is set the way you intend.
