Most wraparound covers use grommet holes with springs; a pair of pliers helps stretch the springs. Landing-style rugs use adhesive Velcro strips and can be trimmed for deeper steps like 13". Electric steps have worked as they should with covers, but check clearance—some setups may require removing the cover before folding.
Measure your step's width and depth and match to the cover's stated size. Covers are commonly 18" or about 23" wide, and fit straight or curved steps 8" to 11" deep. For an 11" depth, you may need the grommets facing outward to get a straight pull on the springs. If your step is around 30" wide, standard wraparound covers top out near 23-1/2" wide, so check larger or custom options.
