Hey Thomas, thanks for reaching out. All of the 145/12 tire/wheel combos we offer come with rubber valve stems like part # AM20904. If you prefer the metal valve stems, we do carry those as part # AM20906. If you go that route, I recommend getting the tires and wheel separately, then having a shop install the valve stems and mount the tires for you.
I see you already got the Kenda Karrier S-Trail ST145/R12 Radial Trailer Tires # AM10130 on order, so if you need wheels to go with that I recommend the following:
- Aluminum AM02 Series Gunmetal Machined Trailer Wheel - 12" x 4" Rim - 5 on 4-1/2 # AM97PR
- Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel - 12" x 4" Rim - 5 on 4-1/2 - Galvanized Finish # AM20134

These metal style valve stems give a more durable feel and a much better look than standard valve stems. They also seal very well and so far, I’m very satisfied with the purchase. If there was any downfall, I would say they could possibly bend, but they recess deep enough in the wheel that they don’t seem overly exposed to being hit by anything.
