Do I Need the Furrion Power Adapter part # FR87PR to Install the Furrion Vision S on a 2018 Ram 2500

I am thinking of getting a Furrion Vision S plus camera to go on a 2022 Forest River Rockwood Utra Lite 2613BS. I am using a 2018 Ram 2500 SLT 4X4 to pull it. Will I need to go ahead and purchase this adapter or wait and see if I’ll have problems with the camera using this setup? Didn’t see a previous question about a 2018 Ram.

Hi Mark,
You shouldn't need to use the Furrion 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter part # FR87PR because your 2018 Ram 2500 is from the fourth generation of the Ram 2500 before they did the huge overhaul that changed the circuits and resulted in the newer 2019 to current trucks having issues with getting enough power from the 7-way.
Is your Forest River pre-wired for the Furrion S+ wireless camera system?
