They work well for replacements when your measurements match—confirm outside diameter, cutout size, mounting-hole spacing, and depth, then tie the black wire to 12v power. If a lens is broken, you may need to swap the whole fixture instead of just the cover.
Sometimes no—the lens may only be sold with the complete Recessed Mount LED Light. If you only need a lens, first verify if a separate cover exists for your exact size. If not available, plan to replace the entire light to match your 12v setup and cutout.
Measure your existing cutout, overall face diameter, and the light's depth to be sure a Recessed Mount LED Light will sit flush. Check the mounting hole pattern against your ceiling or panel. If replacing a puck in an RV, remove the old light and match dimensions before wiring it in.
LED Light replacements are often brighter than the originals, and some offer a lower Kelvin lighting that isn't blue-white. If you're power conscious, note that one setup used only a small amount of 12v power, .7 amps I think. Check the Kelvin rating and amp draw listed for the light you choose.
