Recessed, Spring-Mount Installation is Easy
This puck light is incredibly easy to install as an upgrade or a direct replacement of your existing light. Because it has a low-profile, recessed design, you will need to cut out a 5-1/4" diameter hole if you're not directly replacing a light. To install, use the built-in clips to gently insert the light into the ceiling, wall, or cabinet, and the clips will hold the light in place. The light connects to ground (white wire) and power (black wire) and wires to an interior light switch.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this 5-3/4 inch round recess mount 12 volt RV LED puck light with the frosted glass lens. Now, this RV puck light will recess into the ceiling of your RV, provide you with a nice, sleek, low-profile look, and the cutout diameter that you need for this to fit into is gonna be 5-1/4 inch diameter. This will give you a nice, bright accented light in the kitchen, the bathroom, or the hallway of your RV or camper, so it's perfect for underneath kitchen cabinets, inside closets, over reading nooks, or in your walkways. Now, I do wanna hook this up to some 12 volt power just to show you how bright the light is. So we'll go ahead and hook it up.
And then we turn on the power, you can see there's your light all lit up. I'm gonna go ahead and turn off the overhead light so we can get a good look at it and you can see how bright it is. And what I am going to do is let's go ahead and zoom out and show you from a distance of how bright the light lights up on the back wall. Shooting down. Go ahead and zoom back in.
Go ahead and disconnect it. Now, it does use warm wide LEDs that are more energy efficient, lasts longer, and burn brighter than incandescent. The glass lens on this is a frosted glass lens, provides a nice sleek finish look. It is a durable metal construction and we mentioned the installation's pretty easy. Installation has these built=in spring clips that you just pry back, put into the opening, let them go and it'll hold it into place.
The connector on it plugs into a two-pin connector in your light circuit inside your RV or camper. A few specs on this, the length of the wire on this is about 20 inches long. Voltage, 12 volt DC. Wattage, nine watts. And last thing, give you overall dimensions on this.
The overall diameter from one edge to the other, 5-3/4 inches diameter. And the depth, the widest point is gonna be right about half inch deep. But that should do it for the review on this 5-3/4 inch round recess mount 12 volt RV LED puck light with the frosted glass lens.
