How to Know if Mighty Cord SurgeMinder Surge Protector is Damaged After Overheat

Question:

I have the 30amp, it was hot yesterday and the power was cut off, went and checked the protector the over heat light was on. It was not until the next day it was working again. No reset button? Is it okay now?

Hey Jerry, does the LED still light up on the front of the Mighty Cord SurgeMinder Surge Protector and Circuit Tester # SU39SR? If it was actually overloaded it would have damaged the internals of it and it wouldn't work as a surge protector any longer.
