Good product. Clearly marked wire pigtail (in multiple languages), perfect fit to OEM 4-pin harness and a nice braided sleeve. 659068

This product will be an additional backup item. I used the other Easy Pull connector, but on my truck end the flapper door is spring loaded and puts too much downward pressure on trailer connector. Maybe that's why original trailer connector had a broken pin. 401472

I actually got the idea from a trailer I rented once. You permanently mount this somewhere behind the coupler where it won’t get damaged and use an extension. It’s a lot faster and easier to replace a damaged extension wire than to solder a new plug onto your trailer wiring if(when) it gets damaged. I used mine on a 4x8’ utility trailer that I pull with my truck on the road and with a utility tractor off road, you don’t have to worry about the wiring for the lights hanging down dragging the ground getting damaged, you just remove the extension and put the weather cover on it when you’re off highway and don’t need the lights. 587680

  • 4-Way Flat to 4-Way Round Trailer Plug Wiring
It may seem odd to clarify, but we sometimes have customers describe things differently than we may. So if you are looking for the connector between a 4-way flat on your vehicle and the 4-way round connector a towed vehicle would plug into you simply would need the Custer Trailer Connector Adapter - 4-Way Round to 4-Way Flat # ADP001. If you needed a longer connector you can use # Adapter 4 Round to 4 Flat # 47465. If you are looking for a long trailer wiring umbilical cord, you would...

I spoke with my contact at Hopkins and they informed me that the Hopkins Endurance 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector # HM48110 that you referenced has 16 gauge for the white (ground) wire and 18 gauge for the rest. For a 4-way that has all 16 gauge wire you would want the Wesbar 4-Pole Flat Connector # W787264.

  • Troubleshooting Loss of Clearance Light Function on Bendron Titan Enclosed Trailer
On a enclosed trailer like your Bendron Titan the amber clearance lights will typically be wired to the running light circuit, the same one that provides power to your license plate lamp. Sine that circuit functions the issue is probably that there is one main wired connection up to all of those clearance lights that has failed. Since it is very unlikely that all the bulbs failed at once the wiring is the most likely issue. We do not have access to wiring schematics for this trailer...

  • Troubleshooting Non-Working LED Running Lights on 34 Foot Trailer Although Brakes Lights Do Work
A good way to start the troubleshooting process is to test the 7-way on your tow vehicle. Looking at the outside of the connector, the pin in the 1 oclock position is for your tail and running lights. Using a circuit tester such as # 40376, make sure that pin is receiving power. Also check for corrosion or damage to the pin because either of these situations can hinder the flow of current. If your connector is not receiving power check the tow package running light fuse, it may have blown. If...

  • Replacing 6-Pin Square Trailer Connector on Jayco Pop-Up Camper With a 4-Way Flat
It sounds like you are replacing your older 6-pole wiring harness on your Jayco popup camper to a 4-flat connector like # HM48110. When you do this, you will have the black auxiliary wire and the blue brake wire remaining. You will no longer be able to use those functions, so those wires can just be taped up and stowed out of the way. I recommend replacing your current connector with the Hopkins Endurance 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector, # HM48110. You will just need to cut off the connector on your wishbone style wiring harness and replace it with the # HM48110. In this case you will just need to connect the brown wire to both taillight wires, the yellow wire to the left turn/brake wire, the...
