Today we're going to take a look at the Optronics Seven-Round to Five-Flat Coiled Cable Adapter. Now, this will convert your tow vehicle's seven-way blade connector into this five-way flat pin connector. It is a coiled cable design. If you notice on the seven-way, it has a nice finger pull design for easy plug-in and easy removal. On the five-way flat end, it includes this threaded mounting bracket right here, that you can pull as much cable out as you need. Once you get it, you can see it just comes apart when you mount that.
Once you get it to how far you want it out, if you tighten that down, it will keep it at that distance. You can just put it wherever you, once you mount it, adjust it to wherever you need it. That should do it for the review on the Optronics Seven-Round to Five-Flat Coiled Cable Adapter.

Direct replacement for a 2017 Triton 20 TRX Patriot Trailer.
Fits perfect. The hardest part is getting off the small locknuts the factory used on the cable brackets. etrailer service is excellent.

I haven't got a chance to put it on my trailer but the delivery time was excellent and the product is exactly what i needed.
Fit perfectly. Love the holes in connector for zip ties since the trailer tongue is a sway system.

My trailer plug was working great till I forgot to plug it in on my last trip and had to replace it. I called and customer service had a new one sent to the resort we were staying at in 3 days so I was able to replace it before we had to travel back home. Awesome!!! customer service. Thank you!!!

This item was an exact replacement for the original equipment on a Ranger boat trailer. It lasted three years before disintegrating. I hope the one I just purchased as a replacement lasts longer.

The equipment I purchased is still in excellent condition and works as it should.
perfect replacement for my bass boat tr ailer
Works great for connecting/converting from flat plug to round plug. However, the insulation is very stiff and would need to be softer and more flexible. Just like the last one I had, the outer insulation cracked. This one seems like it will do the same.

Great replacement for my 2018 Ranger boat. I was surprised when I found a mounting bracket for the plug end which will help reduce the stretching and sagging of the trailer plug harness.
