Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Blue Ox SwayPro weight distribution system clamp-on lift bracket set. This set is gonna provide two of these clamp-on lift brackets that are gonna replace the lift brackets for your SwayPro weight distribution system. So if your originals have become damaged, you can trust these are gonna be an exact replacement coming from Blue Ox, so no worries about compatibility issues or anything like that. Or if you have multiple trailers that you're towing, you don't wanna have to disconnect the brackets from one trailer and put them on the other one. This set is gonna work great for you.
It's gonna be pretty interchangeable so you can get the second set mounted on your second trailer and still use the rest of your weight distribution system and just hooking up to that second trailer. Or there is also the possibility that you've got a different chain style weight distribution system and you're wanting to take advantage of the unique design of these brackets. So with most chain style weight distribution systems, you know those chains do kinda swing so you're not getting a whole lot of sway control with those. With this style, you are going to have these channels that your chains will fit inside so that's going to help limit any of that movement and to cut down on that sway. So if you want to, you can put your chains in there.
These are also going to make it much easier for you to get connected and disconnected. We've got the rotating latches here so we get our chains put in place when we have it down and then we can use our wrench here to provide leverage, rotate that up, put that tension that we need on the chains. And then like I said, that channel is gonna keep those chains fairly immobilized so you're not gonna get that swaying. So if you have a different style weight distribution system that uses those chains, this will be a great option for you as well. These are a nice low profile and so they are going to allow clearance for accessories that are mounted on your trailer frame.
This does have about a quarter inch sitting on top of the frame, so it's not gonna take up much space at all. This is going to accommodate up to 2-1/2 inch wide trailer frame so very simple to get clamped on. They include the hardware that you'll tighten down so that you have a nice solid connection there. The length of the bracket here is right at four inches, so again, it's not gonna take up a whole lot of room for you. Our overall width at our widest point, we're looking at about six inches.
So make sure that you're gonna have enough room on your trailer that you're wanting to install this on. They do include instructions to help you get everything installed, but it is a very simple bolt-on process and it's gonna make that much easier for you to get that tension put on your weight distribution system so that you have that much smoother ride with that sway control built in. And that completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.

Clamp these lift brackets onto your trailer's tongue to get excellent clearance for items mounted above your trailer frame. Rotating design lets you quickly and easily lift the chains of your Blue Ox SwayPro weight-distribution system.Great system (I use the same set up on another trailer I have). This set came with 2 and 3/8 inch bolts, which are too short to mount to the channel steel frame (they need to be at least 3 and 1/2 inch). Would wotk fine on box steel frame, this set specifically said that it would fit channel steel frames. Trip to the hardware store will fix it...
I think I got the wrong parts
The parts received were correct for my system. With multiple trailers I can now avoid the trouble of changing the brackets from one trailer to the other.
GREAT customer service. Very professio nal
Had trouble finding what I wanted due to a vertical dog-leg in my trailer frame that interfered with the positioning of the clamp on lift brackets. The picture on the website with the dimensions added helped me choose. I had to cut about an inch out of the backside of the bracket in a non-critical area to make it fit.
Very happy with blue ox saddles. Quick ship. Great customer service
Purchased the clamp on lift brackets for the Blue Ox weight distribution hitch. Couldn't be more pleased with the product and service. The etrailer people delivered on time and at a great price. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
etrailer was great. Product was ordered and shipped the same day. Excellent service in letting you know what the status was up until delivered to your door and a followup to make sure you were satisfied with the purchase. If the need ever arises again will order from etrailer.com.. 5 Stars....
Great product.
Ordering this product was simple on the website and the order arrived promptly and in good condition. I didn't call with any questions on this order, but when I have the staff has been well informed and very helpful. It is a pleasure dealing with etrailer.
Really like the new wrench, more like a breaker bar an not a knuckle buster like the old one
Easy to use and works great. The bolts to attach the saddles were pretty tough to tighten, I think due to paint on the threads. Other than that it was a super easy install and I love the product!
Everything arrived quickly and in great shape.
Great product but even better customer service!
