Best purchase for my lithium batteries on my travel trailer. Definitely recommend makes me feel safe being locked up from thieves and the weather. Although the prices have gone up a bit its worth your piece of mind.Box has help up well with weather .
Product arrived with 2 areas of chipped paint on the outside. Also both battery hold down brackets were not completely painted and are missing 1 to 1.5 inches of paint. Bare metal is showing. Is no one working Quality Assurance at Torklift?

If you will be having this installed outside, I would recommend covering up those paint chips with some rust-oleum type of paint. I have provided a link below that should guide you through the rust proofing process. I have also sent your information over to our customer service department for them to get in touch with you about this issue.

The box does exactly what it is made for. Well made with all the precautions to avoid fraying wires.It could have had a better grade lock.

The battery box still holds my batteries. Its a safe for my batteries. Works well.
I found the Torklift battery box to be well built and as described on the website, there were NO surprises. The original battery holder on my trailer tongue wasn't wide enough for two group 27 batteries, so I bought this box to accommodate them. I was able to install the new box on the tongue of the trailer and I didn't need the supplied extension brackets for the widest part. As you will see in the photos, the area was tight, but the box fit perfectly. I installed two group 27 batteries, and they were a perfect fit. I like the battery tie-down brackets because they are easy to install and remove. In the photo, the propane cover is touching the box, but the cover wasn't secured yet, and when it is, there is 1 1/2" between the box and cover. The only modification was trimming the length on one of the long tie-down bolts so the lid would completely close and lock properly. If you are looking to lock up your batteries or gain more space, this is an excellent product.
Product, Shipping, Tracking Info all exellent. The box is well made, strong,fits perfect on the tongue of my rv. Two lithium 12 v fit with room to spare, lock and lid, as well as the battery tie downs are well thought out and was exactly what I was looking for. Battery box works great. One thing to note: the lock is a generic lock and our RV technician pointed out that if you know which key to use like he did, you can open the lock with a key of that type. Similar to various locks in the RV world, you’ll want to check that if you’re concerned about the generic lock. You can swap out the locking element from the box with one that you get from a hardware store for peace of mind.
Holds 2 BattleBorn Li 100AH batteries perfectly. Easy to mount and install batteries and cables with its pre drilled hole holes.
The build is great. Using 2 ea group 27 battle born batteries with heaters. Looke like the batteries will fit and have an extra 1/2” all the way around for addittional insulation. Not installed yet but looks like a graeat fit. Only wishing it had a secondary locking mechanism like a bolt lock.
So far, I like the battery box. It's the only option on the market for two gel batteries. They fit well

Paint on box corner was chipped. Mounting hardware shipped loose in box unprotected from each other and from the interior of the box. Thankfully this hardware and the interior of the box were unharmed.

its been a year since I installed this box to house my batteries and it looks and performs just like it did a year ago. best investment I ever made for the security of my lithium batteries.
Great quality build box. I've been in need of a narrow battery box to fit my trailer. I have a trailer that has a very narrow space between the propane and tailer itself. It fits two of my lithium batteries well, but that's it. It's important to know, there's just enough room for two batteries and some wiring. There isn't very much room other than that. Still, the build quality is good and very easy to install. It's vented well and has access holes in the back that are large enough to accommodate almost any wiring setup.
Overall I would recommend due to the quality build, form factor, and ease of installation.

Very solid box! Measure thrice on ordering. It fit very snugly exactly where I wanted it. The lock was easy to replace with a RV lock tumbler in order to match the rest of my locks.
Really the only cons would be very limited instructions on how they expect the battery mounting brackets to be used. There is a lot of hardware and it turned into a game of fitting it all together to secure the batteries. Two Battle Born 100ah batteries fit very well in this box. There was also room to spare for the Victron Shunt. There is a big lithium placard stickered to the box. I found it easiest to remove with some dental floss. Sliding it into the foam adhesive to cut the bond. I didn't want to advertise the expensive batteries in the box. The finish on the box is very nice and was not damaged at all from the removal.
This box is still going strong and worth every penny.
The box came in with everything totally as advertised. Mounting instructions on the front of our trailer were easy And accurate. We’ve driven it everywhere and lots of trips long and short, and it’s riding solid and sound right where we should installed it. Our two battle born 100 amp lithium batteries have stayed completely dry and safe from theft. The torque lift battery box is bulletproof. I highly recommend it.
The box is strong and of good quality. It looks like it will last. We just received it so I cannot comment on the ease of installation.
Great battery box. Fits two Group 31 batteries. I use it to house two Relion RB100 LiFePO4 batteries for a 12v 200AH setup. Straight forward to use and install. Very durable, I'd be more worried about it getting ripped off the trailer than someone getting into it. A little heavier than I thought it would be at about 30#. Still not too bad considering battery box plus two lithium batteries ends up being only about 15# heavier overall than the one AGM battery it replaced.
Great box for installing my new LIPH batteries. Looks very professional compared to the plastic box and much more secure. Very well made and won’t rust. Being aluminum it was ray to install and make modifications to fit the existing wiring. Great product.
Well made sturdy box I only have one complain which was an easy fix for me; I drilled a hole through the lid and box and used a pad lock. The system of locking the box jams and it is hard to unlock.
The lock arrived broken!! Most important part of a locking box. And took a long time to ship me a new lock. But I’m very happy with the overall lock box!!
Haven’t installed the box yet, but very impressed with the quick delivery.
Very well constructed and definitely like being able to secure my batteries on the tongue of the trailer. I had to alter the method of securing my Battleborn Lithium batteries in the box. I would appreciate more height to the box so I could mount bus bars and shunts within the box.

Well its been a year and box has been holding up well with weather no signs of rust. Definitely has helped keep my batteries safe. Definitely still recommended. Torklift products seem to be great quality. Looking to purchase there rv steps in the future .
