Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at these Blue Ox replacement spring bars for your SwayPro weight distribution system. Now this kit is going to include the two spring bars, lift chains, and necessary hardware needed to replace your SwayPro spring bars. Now, one of the really nice things about the SwayPro system is that you can simply switch out your spring bars. So if you get a lighter trailer or a heavier trailer make sure that your a ride is gonna be nice and smooth, you can simply switch out the spring bars so that it's got the right weight capacity for you rather than having to get a whole new system.
So we do have lots of different spring bar sets that will range from tongue weight of 200 pounds up to the tongue weight of 2000 pounds. So you just need to make sure that you're getting the right set for your setups tongue weight. The bars do all look very similar. They are going to have slight thickness differences but the easiest way to tell which bar set you have, they use a dot system. So the 350 pound bars are not gonna have a dot Your 550 pound max ton weight is gonna have one dot, like we have here.
So these are our 550 pound max tongue weight. But then on that list there you can see those dots on the right side. So it goes up to five dots for your 2000 pound tongue weight rating. So just make sure you're getting the right one for your setup so that it's not gonna be too rigid and it's going to engage properly for you. All these sets are going to work with both your older locking pin style pivot tubes.
So they've got the divot there on the top, so your locking pin will grab onto that to secure these into your head unit. And they are also going to work with your newer style through pin style locking tube so that you can get that pin passed all the way through there to secure that. So whether you have the older style or the newer this will work great for you. These are made here in the USA, so you can trust they're made to the high quality standards we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US, but more than that, because they are a Blue Ox product you can trust they are gonna fit right into your SwayPro system. And you're not gonna have any issues with it.
It's just going to accommodate for either replacing spring bars that you already have or adjusting your setup for that different tongue weight. So that completes our look for today. Again I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..

These were a great replacement for the bars I got when I purchased my new RV. The bars I had were rated for 1000 lbs and my hitch was around 650 with the camper loaded. These provided a much better ride and came very quickly.

These bars are just what I needed. I have had a Blue Ox hitch with 1000 bars for awhile but bought a new trailer with a lot less tongue weight. That is why I bought 750 bars. The fact you can change bars without changing the whole hitch is a real plus. I think the Blue Ox hitch is the best hitch on the market bar none and I have had a few..

Working great.
Reviewed multiple weight distribution hitches before choosing the Blue Ox system. Thuis is a well built system offering the flexibility to adjust to different tongue weights by swapping out trunion bars. Adjustments based on different loads and weights are not complicated and can be performed with trailer loaded. Quality materials.

Purchased a new travel trailer which had a heavier toe weight which required bring bars with a higher weight rating. Was very happy I could purchase these bars to increase the rating of my hitching system at fraction of the cost of purchasing a complete new one. The bars fit and performed as required.

Amazingly easy & quick to order these replacement spring bars for my Blue Ox travel trailer hitch. I lost one bar due to my haste in hooking up recently.

750 lb bars to replace the 1000lb bars I had. Tongue weight is consistently under 750 when loaded, so down-weighted accordingly.

Great product. Steve Z was a big help. I ordered these on a Monday and paid for 2 day delivery. UPS scheduled it to be delivered on Wednesday but it didn’t arrive until Thursday which was disappointing.
