Hello Leslie,
When picking out a weight distribution system tongue weight is most important! Typically your tongue weight is going to be around 10-15%, but with boat trailers it's usually on the lighter side around 5-10%. You are going to need to use something like a # BTBRV44FR to figure out your exact tongue weight so you can get optimal performance from the system.
Once you figure out your tongue weight you are going to want either the # EQ37120ET for 800-1,200 pound tongue weight, or the # EQ37100ET for 600-1,000 pound tongue weight.
In order to hook it up to your boat trailer you will also need the Pole-Tongue Adapter for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems # EQ95-01-5950, this works on a trailer tongue width 1-5" and height 2-5", and will need to sit 27" - 32" back from hitch ball. We do not have an install video at this time, but I attached an installed picture a neighbor (customer) sent into us for so you can see how it will sit on the tongue.
You will also want to grab a Thin Walled Socket for Equal-i-zer Hitches # EQ70-00-4800 which is a 1 7/8" socket to get the ball attached to the Equal-i-zer weight distribution system if you do not have one already, and the Sway Bracket Jackets for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems # EQ95-01-5150 these are going to help with some of the noise while also prolonging the life of the components as well.
I attached some review/install videos for you to check out as they are a great way to get a good feel for the products before you purchase.
After you get things hooked up and get out there on your first trip please let me know how you like it. What is a day like on the water for you? I only go out to fish, just fished a bass tournament this last weekend. It was a cold and humbling day for many of us here in Missouri.

Hey Leslie, how did things go once you measured your tongue weight and tried the Equal-i-zer setup with the pole-tongue adapter on your boat trailer? Your update could make it easier for the next person working with a similar Y-style trailer.
