Highway gusts and passing semis are no match for the Blue Ox TrackPro’s integrated sway control. The system uses steel-on-steel friction between the spring bars and L-brackets to fight sway as soon as it starts. It holds your trailer in line and brings it back to center if wind or road movement tries to push it off course. Getting the head angle right can be one of the trickiest parts of installing a weight distribution hitch. The TrackPro makes that easy with a pre-set pitch built right into the head assembly. Its positive caster angle—like what’s used in automotive steering—helps the trailer self-center and keeps it aligned behind you. That means fewer adjustments, no extra washers, and a smoother install. Once you position the head on the 7-hole shank for height, you’re ready to tow.
A level rig tows better and brakes more predictably. This setup evenly spreads 600–800 lbs of tongue weight across all the axles on your vehicle and trailer, restoring balance and control. With an 8,000-lb gross towing weight rating, the TrackPro helps you make the most of your hitch’s capacity while keeping the ride smooth and stable. It fits 2" x 2" receivers and accommodates trailer frames up to 6" tall.
The TrackPro is made from heavy-duty, powder-coated steel for durability and corrosion resistance. Each trunnion spring bar includes a grease zerk at the back, so you can keep the pivots lubricated without disassembly. The tapered bar design flexes under load for a smoother ride instead of a rigid bounce. Everything you need—head assembly, adjustable shank, 2-5/16" hitch ball, lift lever, L-brackets, pin and clip—is included, along with a limited lifetime warranty.

Excessive sway may indicate that the trailer is improperly loaded. As a guideline, the tongue weight should be 10-15 percent of gross trailer weight. If it is not, redistribute the weight accordingly. If you encounter continuous sway or swaying that does not dissipate quickly, adjust the load. I however, do not know your trailer or weights so you may need a biggerstronger system. If you let me know what you are working with I can get you a better system.

Using a trailer jack to lift the truck and trailer up a bit to take tension weight off the bars is often an easier way to put them on.

Oh that looks bad, but thankfully, you can clean off and cover up that rust with a rust-oleum type of paint. I have a link below for your reference. I have also sent your information over to our customer service department for them to look into some sort of compensation.

I have been using this weight distribution hitch for about a year. It has made the ride better and safer. Im pulling a 24ft enclosed trailer with a Tundra with no problems.

great..this is a great hitch...trailer always tracks straight with no sway...ideal for weight distribution in my weight range...I would buy it again...easy set-up
