Question:
MY TONGUE WEIGHT WHEN LOADED IS 840 POUNDS AND MY BARS ARE MAX 800, SHOULD I CHANGE TO THE 1,000 POUND BARS?

Expert Reply:
Yes, you should swap the weight distribution bars to the 1,000-lb Spring Bars for Blue Ox TrackPro # BLU52FR. These have a tongue weight capacity of 800-1000lbs. It is important to use the correct bars with the TrackPro since the sway control and weight distribution both use these bars. The bars can easily become damaged when overloaded which would cause issues for both the vehicle level as well as the sway control of the trailer.
These bars will simply replace the bars that came with your Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution # BLU47FR. The bars have lines to help you keep track of which bars are for each weight. The 800lb Bars # BLU25FR will have 2 lines in them on the end and the 1,000lb Bars # BLU52FR will have 3 lines. Also available are 600lb Bars # BLU82FR with 1 line and 1,300lb bars # BLU32FR with 4 lines.
