Question:
Im considering a timbren rear suspension upgrade for my 2020 f150 4x4 to reduce squat while towing. Im confused about the difference between the models, which would be appropriate for towing my 7k pound trailer? Thanks

Hey Patrick, thanks for reaching out!
I recommend using the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TFR1504E for trailer towing with your 2020 Ford F-150 because this is rated to help out with 6,000 lbs, but it won't be feeling the full weight of your 7K trailer. Timbren's have a reputation for making the unloaded ride of a truck a bit more stiff which is why I recommend the lightest weight rating.
The other thing to keep in mind is that a properly rated weight distribution system will have a better effect on your setup than suspension enhancement will because the Timbren kit basically adds a space while a weight distribution will level your towing rig by redistributing the tongue weight among all axles so you get a better performance (plus most weight distribution kits have built in sway control now).
If you don't already have a weight distribution kit then I recommend trying out the 8K Blue Ox TrackPro # BLU47FR prior to installing a Timbren kit.

Hey Patrick, how did things go with the Timbren rear suspension on your F-150 when towing your 7K trailer? Did it help reduce the squat as you hoped? Your update could make it easier for others setting up similar towing rigs.
