Roadmaster Bent Electrical Socket Bracket
Brackets hold the towed vehicle's electrical socket firmly in place, making it easy to plug and unplug the electrical cord. The bracket is made of 1/8" thick steel.

Rob: Rob here, at Etrailer.com. Today you're going to be taking a look at the Roadmaster Bent Electrical Socket Bracket. Whenever you want to flat tow your Ram, obviously we're going to have to have our lights. Well that's where our tow bar wiring's going to come into play. But as you can see, there's really not a good spot on the front of our Ram to mount a six-way, or any other electrical socket.But our Roadmaster Bent Electrical Socket's going to make it a little bit easier, because it is going to be bent, and we'll have a nice, solid connection point to mount our wiring up to. Now, since we're not going to be able to take a really close look at the brackets since with have our plug and everything else mounted, I have another one right here.
Now, here we can see that it has that 90 degree bend in it. That's going to make it easy to mount up, because we'll have two holes on the top, we're going to use a nut and bolt, or self tapping screws to get it in place.Just find a solid, flat section, and you can drill right into it. Then on the front section of our bracket here, we'll have the large opening, and that's where our plug is going to go. Now, our bracket is going to accept most Roadmaster four-way round and six-way round connectors, just like we have here. Our bracket's going to be made out of a 1/8" thick steel, and have a nice, black, powder coat finish on it.
That's going to help prevent any kind of rust and corrosion. And that steel, you can see, is very sturdy. I'm bending it with my fingers, and it's not moving at all. So we know when we mount it on the front of our truck, we're not going to have to worry about it rusting, bending or anything else.Since there really wasn't a good spot on my Ram to mount the plug, what I did was is I used my bracket and on this lower plastic shield here, I cut an opening so I could have my wiring come through, but if we look on the inside behind this panel, where the metal part meets the plastic part, there's actually a ledge right there. I cut a slit so that my bracket could come down, and then I used that ledge to mount the top section of the two holes of my bracket to.Here you can see that ledge that I was talking about.
I actually just drilled two holes to the top, and I took a couple screws and nuts, had them go through that ledge, and then through the bracket and secured everything down.But that'll finish up your look at the Roadmaster Bent Electrical Socket Bracket- (Silence).

This review is for E-Trailer. I ordered a complete dinghy towing set-up for the dinghy as a towbar came with the RV we purchased. I called E-Trailer and spoke with a very knowledgeable young lady and when I told her what I needed in layman’s terms she came up with what I would need to complete the dinghy preparation in order to safely tow it behind our RV. Everything they said it would do went just as the instructions directed. I ordered a Roadmaster Falcon 2 set up for the dinghy and they suggested a Blue Ox self contained braking system for the SUV itself. hey also suggested the complete wiring system and plug for the dinghy. To my amazement after the RV and dinghy were connected that also was as easy as they said it would be. Our first tow with the dinghy was great and the unhooking was also a very easy experience. This company was awesome to work with. Thank you for your knowledge and great products.
This doesn't fit the Hopkins 7 way plug I ordered.

I have ordered this by accident because one came with the Jeep wiring kit. I will hang on to it for a spare should I damage the one I have installed on my Jeep. The bracket is stout and well made and worth hanging on to.

This bracket is necessary to install the RoadMaster 6-Wire Trailer Connector - Vehicle End - RM-910030-7, which I also ordered.

This is what I needed as a final step in getting on the road with my truck in tow! I have talked with more than a few parts providers, including Blue Ox, trying to get this project done. None of them came in even a distant second!
Mounted easy, worked well to mount wiring harness from my RV to my Jeep toad!
The parts are great. Getting them to me was very disappointing. It took about a month to get them through the shipping process. It would be better to find another delivery method to assure a more prompt delivery time. Promised was 3 business days, actual delivery almost a month.
