Flat Tow Setup for 2024 Ford Bronco Outer Banks

Hey Michael! Thanks for sending the pictures! You've put together a pretty good list for flat towing your 2024 Ford Bronco Outer Banks behind your 2027 Nexus Ghost. You do have the standard plastic bumper with factory tow hooks, so the Roadmaster # RM79RR is the correct base plate kit. Here's what I recommend based on your list:

-Roadmaster Smart Diode Wiring Kit # RO44FR

-Roadmaster Electrical Socket Bracket # RM-910030-5

-Curt RVibrake Shadow 2 Braking System # RVI94FR

-etrailer Tow Bar Cover # e76FV

The Nighthawk includes the safety cables, 7-way to 6-way electrical cord, and 6-way socket, so you won't need to purchase those separately. The # RO44FR provides the smart diodes and wiring needed for your Bronco's LED taillights. The separate bracket will let you mount the socket on the front of your Bronco. The Shadow 2 also includes battery charging, so you won't need a separate charge line.

The one thing I need to verify is your Bronco's engine. The Shadow 2 is confirmed to fit the 2.3L, but isn't listed for the 2.7L. Which engine do you have?

You'll also want to check the height difference between the base plate attachment points and your Nexus Ghost's receiver to see if a high-low adapter like # e52ZV is needed. Roadmaster doesn't list the height so you will have to measure to be sure.

@MichaelS then I would go with the Demco Air Force One # DM26VR instead. This is going to be the best system for the air brakes on your 2027 Nexus Ghost.
