The Rebellion XD ball mount features Curt's innovative ShockDrop technology, which is engineered to suppress vibrations and rattling while you're towing. It can even help limit sway. When you hit a bump, the ball mount compresses around the built-in, flexible polyurethane core. This durable material absorbs excess shock so that it doesn't transfer from the truck to your trailer or vice versa. The result is increased control and comfort as you tow, as well as less wear and tear on your towing setup.
Unlike other shock-absorbing systems, which use air bags that require constant monitoring or bearings that are subject to excessive wear, the Rebellion XD is nearly maintenance-free. And it's tested for thousands of cycles to ensure lasting efficiency.
The Rebellion is built with an adjustable shank that lets you raise or lower the ball platform to get the rise or drop that you need for your setup. No more swapping out ball mounts to tow different trailers.
To adjust the height of the Rebellion XD ball platform, remove the 2 stainless steel pins and clips and slide the platform along the shank to the desired position. Six positions allow for plenty of versatility so that you can use this ball mount with all of your towing setups. Re-insert the pins once you've found the correct height and replace the clips to secure them in place.
