Can you attach a Curt weight distribution system to this hitch?

The Curt Rebellion XD Shock Absorbing Adjustable Ball Mount part # C83WR won't work with a weight distribution system due to the design of the adjustable shank but we do have a very similar option that will, the Gen-Y Torsion Weight Distribution Shank part # GY54FR which I did a review on and you can check this out below. The Gen-Y Torsion Weight Distribution Shank has built-in cushioning just like the Curt Rebellion XD Shock Absorbing Adjustable Ball Mount and it's designed for weight distribution.
