I ordered this wiring kit for a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 I recently acquired. The Ram was not tow ready but did have a factory 4-way. I also ordered hitch #13333. The wiring kit is very high quality and was easy to install. The 7-way fit perfectly where the factory 7-way would have gone. I'm using a Tekonsha Prodigy RF wireless brake controller so the blue lead was not needed but I left some extra should that change. Thanks etrailer!

I was skeptical about this purchase at first, but when I thought of all the parts I was going to have to round up at our local auto parts store, whether they had them in stock, and if they had to order them, I decided to get this product from etrailer. I am very glad I did as I found out the existing 7-way plug on my truck had lots of rust/corrosion and the ground wire was almost rusted off its connection points. It is nice having all of the connections already in the 7-way plug and the product arrived in just 2 days with standard shipping! The directions that came with this product were very helpful! I won't hesitate to ordering from etrailer again. I also purchased C51140: Curt TriFlex Trailer Brake Controller to go with this. Works great!
Great product and very easy to understand the installation instructions. Very quick shipping. My 2013 Ford F-150 had no factory wiring and this is gonna give the 7-way I need
used on chevy express van works well, van was not prewired for trailer connections or brakes this was my only option, installation took awhile for connections under hood and dash, circuit breakers mounted under hood greased up w/ dielectric grease so far so good made it through 1 Michigan winter
This trailer brake wiring harness worked very well on my wife's 2013 Chevy Equinox, and the videos and instructions Etrailer provides for nearly everything they sell can't be beat. Have been using this since April 2020.
This product made life real easy converting a standard 4-way plug into a 7-way blade plug and adding a Tekonsha P3 trailer brake controller on my motorhome (1993 Monaco Dynasty). It solved several problems, now I do not have the buy (and have installed) a tow bar and pneumatic brake system for the pickup, just load it up on the car hauler and go (with brakes). Follow the instructions & wiring diagram (simple); the hardest part (not that difficult) of the job was running the controller wire to the front of the MH. Thanks George.
The 7 way trailer light system and brake controller- installed easily and worked well with our pop up trailer.
Used this and other items to install an RV connection with bake controller in a Subaru Forester that had a factory hitch and four way trailer connection.
etrailer videos make installation easy, took 2 hours and saved hundreds. Put the trailer brake controller on and now have my eyes on air suspension through etrailer.
It was not entirely clear about what to do with the blue wire in the instructions. The blue wire must connect to the controller for everything to work. Other than that, its a decent kit
I received an email saying one of the items I ordered, was not in stock, I was given a choice to take an alternative item, which would have worked just fine, I chose to wait for the exact item. To my surprise it came to the house two days after being told I would have to wait. My whole order took just short of a week to get, even having to wait for a part not presently in stock. All the stuff I ordered was in perfect condition, and properly packed. Very satisfied with your service and price.

The 7 way break connector I received was equipped with excellent instructions and all parts needed to hook up I had no problem installing and works excellent I would give 5 stars
