1997 Silverado 1500 Extended cab Will this kit fit the aforementioned truck? If not, do you have a complete kit for this make and model?

The Curt Universal Installation Kit # C57186 is universal and will work on your 1997 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. It does not have a mounting bracket for the 7-way and will require you to already have a 4-way Trailer Connection # C55315.

I recommend using the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. Our kit will include the mounting bracket for the 7-way and on the trailer connector there is a separate connector for 4-way trailers. This means that you will not need to carry a 7-Way to 4-Way Adapter # PK12716 when you need to connect to a 4-way trailer.
