If your vehicle is equipped with a 4-Way connector, the Curt Universal Installation Kit # C57186 that you referenced includes everything needed to convert it to a fully-functional 7-Way. This includes the needed 10 gauge wire that you will connect to the vehicle's positive battery post via the included 40 amp breaker to activate the 12V pin on the 7-Way. This is the terminal you will use to charge the battery on your trailer while you are towing.
