Features:

  • Provides a 4-way flat trailer connector at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer's signal lights
    • Compatible with 5-pole, 6-pole and 7-pole adapters (sold separately)
  • Connects quickly and easily - no cutting or splicing of wires
    • Locate connection points behind tail lights
    • Plug in T-connector
  • Comes with dust cap for 4-way flat connector
  • Limited 1-year warranty

Installation

This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. You will have to remove the tail light assemblies and interior trim paneling to access this harness.

Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed in an out-of-the-way location within your cargo area.

It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Harness was spot on for my application no issues.

Can anybody answer a simple question these days. YES! etrailer can! I went to uhaul first thinking it would be faster, and they sold me the wrong part. Had I went to etrailer first it would have been faster. Hey live and learn
Thanks for your help etrailer

The product is great. It went on a 2013 Ford E250. Loved the factory connections. It made the install easy. I ran the harness down through the opening for the spare tire lock instead of letting it hang out the underside of the rear door. Also, I ran the driver-side line under the plastic molding along the floor as opposed to going over the door frame. I had to do that since I ran the harness out the spare tire lock opening. I wanted this harness to remain in place all of the time without worrying about damaging it during loading and unloading.

I have ordered from this site before and never had any problems. I was disappointed in this purchase though because it describes the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector - C56020 to fit ANY 04-13 Econoline Van which is not true. It DOES fit any passenger or cargo Econoline Van. If you own a Regency(conversion style) van it does not fit without extreme modifications. Etrailer.com is an amazing company and has always been easy and great to deal with! I love this site and will continue to use them!

Our hitches and wire kits are designed to fit OEM production vehicles, as they roll off the assembly lines. Aftermarket modifications, including conversions, make changes to the vehicle and some can affect compatibility. A van conversion involves major modifications including changes to the electrical systems.

Excellent experience. Customer service person was very knowledgeable. She found the right part for my van quickly. She asked several questions to make sure I was getting the right pat and also everything else I would need for the install. She shipped the hitch and electrical assembly the same day for next day delivery. As soon as it shipped she sent my tracking number and followed up with me a soon as it arrived to make sure everything was good.

My mechanic had no problem with the install - perfect fit. This is my third order with etrailer. I'll ever buy any where else.

The product and price is fine. The service by etrailer is terrible and it took a month to receive my order. I called in to cancel the order and they sent me two wiring harnesses (???) and also didn't cancel the order. I have emailed three times trying to return the items and no one follows through. Most of the correspondence is automated with fake human names so the buyer can't tell if they are talking to a human or robot. I will never buy from etrailer again.

It is unfortunate that you had such a bad experience with us. I have sent this over to our customer service team for them to better assist you.

Fine. The directions and video could be improved since no one mentioned the back up lights really did not need to be involved with the connections. Just the signal and brake and lights are unplugged and replugged. Textbook vs reality.

fit and worked perfectly. Would be nice if a piece of sheathing to protect the wires where it has to go over pinch welds behind the plastic trim panels were included. Otherwise a dozen wraps with electrical tape takes care of that.

Connectors did not fit through grommeted opening on floor. Wound up cutting the grn/wh wire and fed from top down then spliced them together. Not ideal but better than enlarging opening in floor. Connectors on taillights fit well. Overall happy with item.

For this harness you would want to remove the grommet and cut a slit large enough to route the custom wiring harness though. I recommend viewing our video install on a 2011 Ford van.

by:
2010 Ford Van

Easy to install, good fit to existing wiring, although the pigtail to the trailer plug could be a little longer (6" more?), but long enough for my trailer wiring to reach the plug. I think I should have bought the unit that had a control box included, because my turn signals flash as if there's a bulb out from the extra draw to the trailer (only turn signals, NOT with the 4-ways . . . ). Not a big deal, gets the job done, the fast signal is a small issue.

This harness is truly plug-n-play. Couldn't be any easier. If you know how to use a screwdriver, you can install this. Put it on an '07 E-350 Ford van, and it works great. Karen @ etrailer knew just what I needed & recommended this product, and I'm glad she did. Thank you Karen!!! 1st time ordering from etrailer, and I will certainly order from them again!!

The plug-n-play wiring harness has been working flawlessly. I couldnt be any more satisfied. I also ordered a custom fit hitch receiver at the same time, and it has been great. Installation instructions were very clear, and installed it in about 10 minutes with no drilling whatsoever. Just what I wanted & needed. The best part... everything was shipped to my doorstep and I saved over $100 from my local auto parts store. Im a very satisfied customer, and have recommended etrailer to all my friends.

Very durable and easy installation. I’ve made multiple 400 mile trips with 6x12 uhaul trailer full of custom cabinets (easily a few thousand lbs) and have had no trouble at all. I installed the hitch in about an hour in the dead of winter. Would’ve taken half the time if it wasn’t so cold.

by:

As promised the harness wired up directly to the existing vehicle wiring harness the instructions were clear. Also the trailer hitch was very easy to install, and the video on your website is excellent. I would certainly recommend these products and your company to anyone in search of a trailer hitch.

by:

Simplified the addition of a towing package. Wires allow electrons to flow effortlessly while creating a warm glow across the resistive lighting elements. Havent been so happy since the day of my wedding, birth of my son! If I had use for them I would purchase like 100! Best financial decision I could have made and a very solid product!

Thanks etrailer. Everything about this transaction was great. Easy to use website, great information and tutorial videos. Product arrived fast and installation was a snap, (less than 3 hours for hitch and wiring by myself). No drilling, cutting, wire splicing or frustrations, what a relief! I will definitely use etrailer again and recommend you to all my family and friends for their towing needs.

You guy's ROCK! Keep on Towing!

2004 Ford Van

This product is great! After buying the standard U-Haul wiring kit, and then spending hours taking apart the back of my E-350 and the wiring bundles only to find out that the wiring colors didn't match what I needed to splice into, I gave up and did some more on-line research. Thankfully I found this product, which is made by the same manufacturer as my hitch. Installation was straightforward and went without a hitch (no pun intended), and it worked perfectly on the first try and ever since. Thanks!

by:
2004 Ford Van

Simple installation if used as suggested. I installed this a little bit different than suggested. This was intended to be installed and routed into the cargo area of the E350 van. We didn't want the wires in that area due to constant use and fear of damage. We drilled holes under the tail lights to route wires out side the van. This also required that we cut the harness wires after the connectors to route the wirw. Installed we had no issues. This just took a little thought to make it work to our requirements.

by:

The quality was extremely good and strong. It was also easy to install. Only problem I had was that the size of the steel used for the trailer chains to hook to was so large that I had to seek other hooks that would fit so that the chains could hook on to them.

by:

Item was fine but etrailer was really challenged at providing customer service. The automated system made mistakes and the rep sent two parts on accident and eventually I was able to return but it wasted some of my work time

by:

Within 3000 miles the wires came loose from the connections and shorted the light system, unfortunately withing a few minutes of this happening, I was stopped by a office. I could have gotten a ticket but instead was given a warning. Had to re wire on the spot around the connections to be able to move the van.
