If you’re done swapping out burnt bulbs, this amber LED light is a smart upgrade. It replaces old incandescent lights with a more efficient setup that shines brighter while drawing less power. The LEDs last up to 50 times longer than traditional bulbs, so you won’t be dealing with brittle filaments or replacements. At 12V DC, it gives you a clean, reliable light every time you tow.
Water is no match for this light’s sealed design. The housing and lens are built as one waterproof unit, keeping the circuit board safe from corrosion and moisture damage. Whether it’s splashes on a rainy drive or full submersion when launching a boat, the LEDs stay protected and working like new.
It’s small but tough. The 2-1/4" long by 1-1/4" tall by 3/4" thick light is housed in chrome-plated metal that adds a clean finish while protecting against dings and wear. The compact rectangular shape mounts flush with the surface, giving a sleek look without sticking out where it can catch.
No need for complicated wiring or drilling. This light surface mounts directly to your trailer using the included hardware, and the single-wire plug makes connecting it quick and straightforward. Once in place, it’s ready to go without any extra adapters or brackets to chase down.
This P2-rated light casts a 90-degree beam spread—45 degrees to each side of centerline—so it’s easily seen head-on but not meant to be your all-angle marker. Use it as either a clearance or a side marker light where clear forward visibility matters most. DOT compliant and built for consistent performance, it keeps you visible where it counts.

Hello, neighbors. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Peterson Clearance or Side Marker Light Kit. It's submersible with an LED chrome housing and amber lens finish. So folks, this LED trailer light does serve as a clearance or side marker light when properly mounted, and with the gasket and everything, and the install screws, and the wire included as well. So it's gonna give you a nice looking clearance or side marker with a waterproof housing and the LED lens unit.
Has a nice, durable chrome plated housing, as you can see there with, obviously, an amber lens. It is surface mount to the trailer with the two included screws, and it does include the single wire plug here as well. So basically it's getting grounded on the trailer frame and you're powering up the one wire with power. It is P2 rated, DOT compliant. It is two and a quarter inches long by one and a quarter inches wide or tall, however you wanna say it.
And the light itself is three quarters of an inch thick. Now I do wanna get this powered on for you so I can kind of demo it lit up. So bear with me. Okay, let me hook this back up real quick. Come on.
All right, so we've got the nice amber light. This is daytime. I'll shut the overhead lights off so you can see it at night. And if you we inchesre from the side roughly, something like that. So it puts up a pretty good, decent amount light.
I'll zoom out so you can see it far away. And then again, if it was pointed sideways. So it's easy to see. Very, very visible. It's what you want, especially when you're out there on the road for safety and whatnot. So again, this is the amber option. We do also carry this in a red option as well. You can buy that separately here at etrailer.com. Nice one year warranty. This again is the Amber Peterson Clearance of Side Marker Light. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
